Energy Sciences Inc. is attending a Showcase hosted by Contiweb and DG Press Services in The Netherlands this week. The event, happening March 21-23, is an opportunity to learn more about Contiweb's web offset products, discuss the latest developments in the industry, and network with companies and individuals from around the world. ESI will have a table at this showcase and welcomes any questions relating to electron beam and the converting process.
What to Expect at the Showcase
The Showcase, which will highlight the Contiweb Thallo technology, is designed for packaging and print companies to learn more about web offset applications for flexible packaging and labeling. Included in the event will be education on how to maximize productivity during a variety of packaging processes.
In a more hands-on experience, there will be a variety of press demonstrations led by label and packaging suppliers. The goal of these educational sessions is to instruct on proper technique and use of machines, as well as guide attendees to discover the cost and time-saving advantages within their own applications.
Throughout the showcase, there will be ample time to network with these suppliers and other attendees. Print companies can also use this opportunity to take a tour of the DG press facility. One should expect to leave with a knowledge of how the Contiweb Thallo system works with flexo, gravure, and digital solutions.
Contiweb was founded in 1978 and eventually moved to Boxmeer, The Netherlands in 1982. Their main products are auxiliaries for web offset and web inkjet, including splicers, rewinders, and fluid applicators. The company employs about 230 people, is now a subsidiary of Goss International, and is still headquartered in The Netherlands. Contiweb's goal is to improve conversion processes while helping companies become more sustainable. Learn more about Contiweb by visiting their website.
