SCHATTDECOR Selects Energy Sciences Inc. (ESI) to Supply Electron Beam (EB) Systems for Existing Print Line.
BOSTON, MA – JUNE 16, 2026 – SCHATTDECOR, the global leader in décor printing, has again chosen ENERGY SCIENCES INC. (ESI) to supply Electron Beam (EB) systems for its high-speed rotogravure printing and coating line in Głuchołazy, Poland.
“After running ESI EB equipment for the past two years in Tarnowo Podgórne, the decision to reinvest with ESI was easy,” said Jerzy Szejwian, President of Schattdecor Sp. z o.o. “Their systems outperform anything we’ve used at higher speeds, higher doses, and wider widths.”
ESI’s EZ Cure technology enables decorative paper and film printers to run at 400 m/min+ on demanding, high-speed 2,750 mm wide webs while maintaining high uptime and consistent results.
“SCHATTDECOR sets the standard in the décor papers market,” said Brian Sullivan, ESI Vice President of Marketing & Sales. “Their lacquering processes — including EB curing — are formaldehyde-free and VOC-free, making them safe for modern furniture, flooring, and interiors. They’ve proven that sustainability doesn’t require sacrificing speed or cost-efficiency, and our EB technology meets their high-speed and high-uptime requirements.”
Mr. Szejwian also highlighted service as a key factor: “ESI’s European-based service organization in the Netherlands, with 24/7/365 emergency parts and technical support and locally based trained engineers and technicians, ensures we meet our delivery commitments. Over the last two years, ESI has repeatedly demonstrated responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism.”
